Wayne is founder of the Hong Kong registered company Skills 4 Executives Limited and the Asia Pacific Director for Learning with a multi-national organisation. Having lived in six countries, working with multiple cultures across more than 80 cities in US, Europe, India, Middle East and Asia, Wayne is passionate about assisting individuals and teams, helping them develop and grow.

Who Am I?

Mentoring for the past 30 years, Wayne has found coaching late in his career, formally commencing the practice in 2016. He has quickly adapted to this new profession and is now coaching individuals from most corners of the globe. With a core value of Contribution, coaching forms a perfect fit to his current practices in education, facilitation and development of elite executive talent.

After partnering on staff development projects with leading Universities and Consulting firms in the US, Germany, UK and Australia, Wayne is currently working with coaching counterparts from all levels of organisations. MBA students, start-up entrepreneurs, first time managers, seasoned professional leaders and senior executive teams dominate his client list.

Pre-COVID Wayne travelled the globe working with people, developing and facilitating a wide range of Leadership & Business programs. This practice continues today, mostly via virtual means, and he supports groups to deal with the growing complex nature of our VUCA/BANI business world. Assisting leaders to deal with constant change and helping them with strategic decisions that affect their company, the broader community and environment around them.

Wayne has 45 years’ experience in business, with a significant portion of that in senior leadership roles. During the last decade Wayne has worked with leadership teams across Asia, Europe, India and the Middle East, helping them to succeed in leading culturally diverse organizations. Wayne’s own diverse background brings unique insights and in-depth knowledge to his coaching practice.

Who It Is For?

I work with senior executives in their mid-30s to 40s who feel alone and isolated due to being stuck in a position, lacking clarity on how to move forward. The internal pressure of performing consistently in their role, amidst the expectation to advance their career, makes them stressed, anxious, and exhausted. They are fearful of being overlooked in a crowded field of talent where there is limited opportunity for promotion and lack confidence in their ability to positively influence the decision. These executives are not sure whom to turn to or confide in and need coaching.

We do this by teaching you how to free yourself of those core limiting beliefs that have taken hold of your unconscious mind. Description

By defining your Identity, we complete the inner reframing, and look five years into the future, crystalizing your career dreams and aspirations. Breaking that Purpose statement and blueprint into manageable and actionable twelve-month milestones and assigning short, focused goals that step you towards the target.

Discovering Self-Leadership Traits – Part 1

Additionally, you will have completed a Leadership Snapshot assessment and received the report ready for review during Module 5. As module 4 ends, you are two full months into advancing your short-term goals.

Description

Unpacking four critical personal characteristics which contribute to effective self-leadership, ensures you have the ingredients for a sustainable leadership career, deepening your self-awareness and Leadership EQ. Growing these abilities and at the same time working on your short-term goals means you are building that all important momentum.

Additionally, you will have deep dived on the topics of Grit and Resilience, establishing your profile and understanding how these characteristics impact your leadership performance. On conclusion of Module 5 your goals will have been assessed for alignment to the latest feedback and adjusted where needed to accommodate the additional actions.

This is a key module and introduces two extra essentials to strengthen your self-leadership development. Starting with a tailored plan based on an assessment of your Leadership competencies and attributes and followed up with a deep dive into growing Grit and becoming more resilient. It’s literally like you have added a couple of all stars to your Self-Leadership EQ team.

Another stellar month with Module 6 rounding out a significant career-shaping Quarter 2 of this program. You commence by identifying your dominant Leadership styles and introduce the first 90-day Habit Challenge as a means of developing a repeatable activity from the unconscious mind, for use throughout your career. And you close out with a Masterclass on applying systemic thinking to leverage from the business ecosystem for greater social awareness and impact to your actions.

Module Seven

My Adaptable, Agile Catalyst Leader

WHAT you are getting: After working with the coach and completing the Module 7 webinar, together with the associated exercises, you will utilize your self-leadership learning and development from the first six months and move into the team-leadership space. This shift requires that you no longer rely solely on your own expertise to address the challenges that arise but learn to adapt and apply an agile mindset demonstrating a Catalyst Leadership approach. This essentially means that you become the “Champion of Change” and lead the team in finding solutions. In parallel you continue to work on your short-term goals and are now 30 days into your new habit formation exercise.

Until now your focus has been on changing your mindset by creating more self-awareness, launching into a career enabling blueprint and discovering your self-leadership qualities. From module 7 on, you continue broadening your perspective by embracing attributes of team and business leadership, starting with a fundamental new age requirement for leading teams through adaptability and agility. Illustrating how you can transition from the ways of traditional heroic and expert leadership to a post-heroic, catalyst leader.

WHAT you are getting: After working with the coach and completing the Module 8 webinar, together with the associated exercises, you will truly start to accelerate your growth as a prominent leader. The work completed so far in this program enables you to commence the transition and shift your gaze away from self and team, towards engaging with all your stakeholders. Establishing a strategy for communications, building rapport, and demonstrating real value. You also work towards partnering with identified sponsors (JV partners) that will promote you as future opportunities arise. These activities will require a detailed review of Milestone 1 and your short-term goals to ensure alignment. As well you are now 60 days into your Habit Challenge and making good progress.

Business leadership leads off in Module 8 with your focus immediately turning to Stakeholder engagement. Capitalizing on the work commenced in Module 6, you leverage the systemic ecosystem to explore and understand your Stakeholders interests, considering how you influence and impact them. Utilizing this newly acquired stakeholder knowledge you identify potential collaboration partners that will serve as your future ambassadors and promoters.

To support this roadmap you will examine the need to adopt an inquiring mindset in developing the knowledge and skills required for financial growth and management. And as always there will be progress on embedding Habits 1 & 2 with the completion of actions on short-term goals.

You have also taken a deeper view of the Stakeholder strategy and enhanced this to focus in on those that will have the most impact and influence. Your first-year milestone is looming near, and you have completed 10 months’ worth of actions in order to close out short-term goals. And you are halfway through Habit Challenge #2.
