What a great trio to get us underway in April.

Let’s trip back to the beginning and episode 155. This chat took us to LOS ANGELES to chat with Mr. Nick Whitney aka Keeper Catran-Whitney, the keeper of an incredible secret for decades and who has now shared the devastating story of family sexual abuse. Yet from the outside looking in, this was a blessed family with a musical gift that propelled them to national stardom as the band, The Whitneys.

This is a deeply personal and traumatic journey and Keeper has captured the narrative in his book called ‘HELPLESSNESS’. Here are some of the stats about Keeper Catran-Whitney; born in 1958 in San Francisco, second of eight siblings and his father had 24 children in total. They grew up with frequent relocations due to evictions and unstable housing, living with incredible poverty much of their childhood. His formal education could be described as spotty at best but he has become a subject matter expert on sibling trauma through lived experience.

Take a listen to intro to learn more and then re-watch the entire video for a full recap.

During this leg of her journey she studied everything she could find on natural medicines for healing the body and in the process curing her health issues and establishing a holistic healer certification program. Mayim is a self-proclaimed workaholic and perfectionist and combining her scientific background with natural healing methods now empowers others struggling with their own challenges. An incredible testament to what’s possible when we refuse to accept anything other than the right outcome.

So, our final three guests in order of appearance on the show were,

  • Justin Abrams
  • Marina Morgan
  • Ben Cena

For our 10th guest this quarter we’re heading to Boston, Massachusetts and visiting Aryo Consulting Group’s founder and CEO, Justin Abrams. Originally started as McKinsey for small businesses, Justin believes small businesses deserve proper strategy, growth and excellence. His company, ACG, structures itself into three pillars of success – strategy, growth and optimization. With strategy, they bring you the research, data and principles that are typically provided by the large consulting firms, but at 1/100th of the price. Their ongoing consultations and relationships with owners and operators feel more like a therapy session than a business meeting. Their goal is to unmask the pain points in your organization. The growth pillar is focused on, well, growth. Eighty percent of small businesses suffer with lead generation, and nearly every customer they encounter has been burned by a marketing agency. Unlike most, they’ve developed a wholly organic lead generation strategy. The customer never pays a dollar to costly platforms like Google, Meta or TikTok..
